✨ About the Role
Dr. Jack Li DC is hiring Part-Time Medical Assistants through a dedicated opportunity for UCLA Vietnamese Community Health (VCH) members.
We are currently hiring for Summer (starting June) and beyond, with the expectation that applicants are able to work during the summer period and continue into the school year.
Many of our previous team members have been UCLA VCH students, and we’ve had a great experience working with and mentoring them.

👩‍⚕️ Who Should Apply
  • UCLA students (1st–3rd year preferred) seeking clinical experience
  • Must be able to work during Summer 2026 (starting June)
  • Interested in hands-on patient care in a fast-paced clinic
  • No prior experience required — training provided
  • Prior chiropractic or healthcare experience is a plus

🛠️ What You’ll Do
  • Assist with direct patient care and therapy
  • Support front desk operations (scheduling, check-in, insurance verification)
  • Maintain clinic cleanliness and organization

  • Able to work Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday (flexible around class schedule)
  • Willing to learn and take initiative

🧾 Responsibilities
Front Office Duties
  • Answering and returning phone calls, texts, and emails
  • Scheduling appointments using EMR
  • Collecting patient payments
Back Office Duties
  • Rooming patients and recording vitals
  • Assisting with therapy modalities (electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction)

📌 Requirements
  • Availability on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday
  • Must be available to work during Summer 2026 (starting June)
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin is a plus
  • Medical Assistant certification is a plus (not required)
  • Prior healthcare experience is a plus (not required)
